My story
I have been running since the age of five.
Performance has always been part of my life. Over time, it became a tool.
A tool to create meaning, build connection, and commit to others.

A European ultra-endurance challenge
Today - 2026
Steps for Peace
“Steps for Peace” is a project in preparation since May 2025.
Born after a period of professional disconnection, it follows the continuity of my sporting commitment.
Alongside performance-focused training — notably the Berlin Marathon in September 2025 — I am preparing a European crossing planned for July 2026 and am currently seeking partners to make it possible.
From comeback to national elite
2022 – 2025
A gradual return to road racing, with two marathons in early 2022 (2:44 and 2:43), followed by a 2:38 at the end of the year.
My interest in long-distance running grew stronger. With the support of my partner, I prepared for the legendary 100 km of Biel.
In my first participation, I won the race and became Swiss champion. From 5 km to 100 km, I continued to improve my times, finishing the 2025 season ranked 13th in Switzerland in the marathon, just three minutes off the national top three.
Physical development & professional commitment
2019 – 2021
A period dedicated to physical and mental preparation to join the professional firefighter corps in Lausanne (VD – CH).
In a context shaped by the COVID-19 crisis, this phase strengthened my appreciation for structured effort, discipline, teamwork, and commitment in service of others.
A pivotal period, where sporting discipline supported a life choice focused on purpose and the collective.
2018

Ultra-endurance & great crossing
In 2018, I crossed the United States on foot, from Mexico to Canada. 4,300 km in full self-sufficiency, carrying a 20 kg pack, over 116 days.
A sustained pace, without the pursuit of pure performance, but with constant attention to physical management, nutrition, risk, weather conditions, and logistics.
This experience shaped my vision of ultra-endurance: a balance between effort, adaptation, and clarity.
2017

World tour & openness to others
In 2017, I completed a 300-day journey around the world across 15 countries, meeting cultures, landscapes, and people along the way.
This journey combined running, hiking, mountaineering, and humanitarian engagement, including work with elephants in Sri Lanka and in a school near New Delhi.
A defining experience that has durably shaped my relationship with the world, with others, and with the notion of collective responsibility.
Athletic & personal development
Before
Between 2011 and 2016, I gradually built my athletic foundation. I ran my first half marathon in 2011, followed by my first marathon in 2012, at the age of 20.
From 2012 to 2015, I improved my marathon time from 3:22 to 2:43, while completing five consecutive participations at Sierre-Zinal and several trail races in Switzerland and abroad.
This period was also marked by my military service within the Swiss special forces in Isone, as a grenadier. I finished first in the final selection after ten weeks of physical, mental, and technical testing — a formative experience in my personal and mental development.
The beginnings
Childhood
I started running at the age of five and took part in my first races as early as 1998.
During childhood and adolescence, I practiced artistic gymnastics and apparatus work until the age of sixteen, as well as several years of acrobatic rock’n’roll. Disciplines that were sometimes a source of teasing at school, but which built coordination, discipline, and body awareness essential for what followed.
At nineteen, I left the family home to enter working life. Running then became my common thread: a passion, a space of freedom, an effort — and a refuge.
